We do not currently require a doctor referral.
However, if you are able to obtain a referral, this may help with reimbursement through insurance with the superbill.

All of our speech therapy services through MAPS are private pay only at this time.
 Payments are completed via online invoicing and we do offer a monthly superbill which can be submitted to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for out-of-network services. Speech services may also be eligible through FSA/HSA funds. Please contact your insurance company prior to booking an appointment to clarify what your policy provides.

That is absolutely okay! You can even log into sessions using your phone so we can engage in play-based therapy with movement to best support your child. Sessions incorporate parent coaching in each session where we work together using your child's interests to engage in activities using toys and activities you already have at home. This is a great way to allow for carryover so you can continue to use these strategies between sessions.

A plan of care with a recommendation of services will be determined by the SLP following the evaluation based on your child’s needs. 

We are happy to collaborate with your school SLP in effort to maximize progress. A release of information form will need to be completed in order to collaborate.
